domestic violence awareness - Domestic Violence is a crime that affects 1 in 5 women and impacts the business community through absenteeism, business interruption and workplace violence. CHAIRity 2001 is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the City of Phoenix Family Advocacy Center and other Valley domestic violence shelters for the purpose of providing needed services to survivors of domestic violence.

CHAIRity 2001 - Thursday, October 25, 2001
from 5-8 p.m.

The event evening will feature food, entertainment, silent auction and live auction.

In conjunction with Domestic Violence Prevention Month, the six large oversized artistically decorated "BIG CHAIRS" will be on display at Phoenix City Hall from September 24 to October 24.
