Kurt Weiss
President of USBI
Kurt Weiss came to U S Business Interiors in 1994 with 5 years experience managing employees. Mr. Weiss has been with USBI for over 15 years. He started as an installer and over the years has moved up in the company, holding positions of increasing responsibility. For the past 7 years, he has had the position of President where he was responsible for the daily operations of USBI. It has been his focus to assure that USBI maintains the quality standards expected by our customers. Mr. Weiss has an in-depth knowledge of the operational and logistics strategies and requirements needed to implement projects of all scopes and sizes. His product knowledge, operational experience, and leadership style have helped to successfully complete some of the largest projects in the Baltimore, Washington, DC metropolitan marketplace.
Mr. Weiss has had a key role such project as:
Pentagon Renovation – Ten-year project for the complete renovation of the interiors of Wedges 1 through 5. From the conceptual to implementation phase, Mr. Weiss has been involved to make sure our clients expectations are not only met but also exceeded.
USDA Headquarters, Independence Avenue – This project has entailed a phase-by-phase renovation of each wing of over 1 million square feet of office space.
Defense Logistics Agency, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia – After playing a key role in the operational implementation of the DLA facility for over 3,000 end users Mr. Weiss has built a facilities management program for the DLA team to help supplement the internal DLA Facilities Department
